A WEE INTRODUCTION
Hello and welcome to my first blog post ever… eek!
Thank you for being here.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Erin, a monoprint and collage artist based in Glasgow, inspired by the landscapes, people and feelings I experience in everyday life...but ultimately, I’m just a pretty normal (sometimes silly) human being, with a love for:
nature
I moved to Glasgow in 2024, but I was born and bred in South Devon. Both are insanely beautiful and inspiring in their own way!
creating
with pretty much anything I can get my hands on (clay, yarn, paper, leaves, paint, textiles…you name it)
swimming
aka dipping (White Loch is the dream)

finding faces in things
randomly dancing
(don’t ask) usually to Rawayana
being cosy
in my bed with a book

bird watching
I’m also an Arts Facilitator and a Barista in a lovely community café...
(yep, in that wee building)
Last year (2025) I started selling my art for the first time at markets and now I am beyond excited to share my art (and life) with you on this wee website too.
It’s taken me a while to call myself an artist (I can sometimes be intensely critical of myself) so sharing and selling my art has felt like a huge but blimmin incredible step for me.
What I’ve enjoyed most so far is meeting YOU, so thank you for comming over for a good old blether at markets or even just offering me a smile. I really feel we’ve connected over art and life and hope that this space can offer a similar community online.
